As my first guest post, I thought it would be appropriate to focus on spring, as it is just around the corner in Paris! Almost all of my favourite stores here are showcasing their spring collections! So far, the most reoccurring trend i have noticed is most stores and women are mixing beige, tan and camel all together, as seen from Mulberry. Menswear inspired fashions are also popping up with oxfords, trenchcoats, classic button-down shirts and hats! Lots and lots of hats! My spring shopping list has been constantly changing, but here are my current favorite spring things!

Post Grad School Interview

Yestarday at 3pm, I met with the admission lady at the RCC- institute of fashion.

Not only was she this European beautiful lady, She was more dressed up than me!

This has yet to happen to me. I am always the person who is significantly over dressed.

The interview went amazing, and what is more amazing is that Tulips are now in season.



Seriously thought, is there anything better than spring?

Reading week

With mid-terms finally out of the way, and my grad-school interview fast approaching I can focus on what is really important! Catching up on my Glamour reading and my Brand new "gooddess guide" book and other fantastic reads.

Introducing Emily...

As i mentioned in the part about me, i live with 5 other girls! Needless to say life doesn't get more interesting than this. An idea I had for this blog is to have a few of them take part in the blogging.

The best thing about all my housemates, is how different we are.

I believe that having them "guest blog" here will be interesting as they may appeal to people I may not.

Weekend away

One of my favourite things about not living at home, is how much weekends visiting feel like a mini-vacation.
Another Plus about leaving my small hick-like town of Waterloo and visiting the Big city, is the variety of stores. I've been slowly shopping my way back in to fall, even though my weather reality is -19 and snow all around.

What does one wear to a grad school inerview?

As the date of mygrad school interview approaches, the level of anxiety i've been experiencing has been tremendou. The main problem on my list of concerns is finding the perfect outfit that will send just the right message!
I'm going  for classy and chic, but not over the top. I do not want to the interviewer to think i've been shopping and obsessing over this outfit for weeks. Even though I have been.
